Where do you focus your energy?

The answer to that question reflects what it is you value above all else.

Is your relationship with your chosen partner thriving? Do you spend your spare time together growing your love by nurturing your commitment?

How about your children? Even if they are adults, spending time together is important for providing a ’safe harbor’ in what can sometimes be the stormy sea of Life.

For those who clearly define themselves by their EQ2 guild status or EQ2 toon level, or any other fantasy game, my heartfelt prayer is that one day you can pull yourself out of that Ego-stroking environment and focus your energy where it really matters. You just might find Real Life has a lot more to offer if you didn’t need the constant Ego-gratification you seek relentlessly within your chosen fantasy world.

In a similar vein, I recently learned about “Second Life”. What goes on here may surprise those of you who typically ignore the cyber world as much as possible. More on that later.

Where do YOU focus your energy?

Most won’t have the testicular fortitude to answer that question - it takes tremendous courage to engage in honest self-reflection.

Those who do answer it - if only to themselves - are well on the path toward spiritual consciousness. And those who do answer it, are the individuals I want to spend my spare time with.
