EQII “Harbingers” guild owners “Gull” and “Bitzi” stole my account!

You’ll recall from Part 3 of this EQII saga that I had been asked by the Harbingers guild owners “Gull” (aka Ben Sively) and “Bitzi” (aka Holly Sively) to take over their unused mystic – “Alledria”. To do that, we had a 3-way conversation with “Centrist”, “Bitzi” and I where I shared my personal information (credit card, etc) to set up the new account.

Obviously discerning who is worthy of my trust is not my forte.

EDIT to add: When Bitzi began harrassing me about changing her mind and wanting Alledria back and the toxic environment I described in here became more than I could handle, I moved Alledria to another server. I needed to do this for my own sanity.

My plan was to hold the account until Sony begins their new game trading service later this month. At that time, I planned to sell the right to use her in order to recover my subscription cost which has been paid in full for a year.

I learned yesterday that Ben Sively (aka “Gull” – owner of the Harbingers guild on the Blackburrow server) has used the original credit card I gave him to obtain my account information and I am no longer able to access it. I have reported this illegal credit card use to the bank and authorities and am working with Sony as well. The good news is the credit card can no longer be used.

Because I was new to this whole MMPORG world, I also trusted “Centist”, “Gull” and “Bitzi” to know the rules. It appears transferring or sharing an account is against Sony’s User Agreement. Once again my ability to discern who to trust is worse than questionable.

I take full responsibility for being too trusting of individuals who are definitely unworthy of that trust. I also take full responsibility for learning whatever Lessons are to be learned in all of this.

I am holding all involved close in prayer – obviously our paths crossed for a reason.
